Friday Night

Huge night for fantasy hoops tonight, with 24 teams in action. Hopefully everyone's got their rosters set because if your match-up is still close, tonight is the make or break night of the week.

A few things to keep a eye on:

Hou @ Orl: whether or Carlos Arroyo keeps starting over Jameer Nelson, T-Mac is reportedly out another 7-10 days so keep close watch on Luther Head, Bonzi Wells, Luis Scola and perhaps even Aaron Brooks in deep leagues.

Atl @ Ind: Anthony Johnson has been struggling lately so check his PT and compare it to the young Acie Law IV's. Jamaal Tinsley is also still out and Andre Owens has been filling in solidly so take a flyer if you need 3's or steals.

Sac @ Cle: Sacramento's big three of injuries, Mike Bibby, Kevin Martin and Ron Artest are all out of this game, but due back sometime this month so ride John Salmons, Francisco Garcia and Beno Udrih while you still can, but deal them high while you still can. Out of the three producing, I think Udrih may be able to keep it up since Bibby's been the center of many trade rumors the past two seasons and this should be the season as the Kings should focus on rebuilding. Garcia and Salmons should figure their values to take a considerable hit once Artest and Martin return. On the Cavs' s side, watch Anderson Varejao's PT as it will adversely affect Zydrunas Ilgauskas' and Drew Gooden's production. Larry Hughes has also been back in the starting lineup while Daniel Gibson has been slotted back on the bench as a result. I don't think Larry will produce great numbers either way and Gibson should still play his 30 min/game so neither should be too affected by this move.

Mia @ Dal: Dwyane Wade might time again with finger and shoulder injuries. If so, the Heat might be done. On a fantasy standpoint though, this would increase the value of Ricky Davis and Chris Quinn since Jason Williams is still out with his own injury issues. In the 2006 finals match-up, Dallas comes in streaking after just beaten their rival Golden State Warriors. Their fantasy situation has been the same all season with Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard leading the way. Jason Terry, Devin Harris and maybe Erick Dampier in the deepest leagues are also ownable.

Phi @ LAL: Louis Williams is a great pickup right now if he's still available at this point in the season. Even though Andre Miller might not be shipped out, Williams' value increased with Kyle Korver leaving Philly for Utah. The Lakers are coming off a blowout loss against the Boston Celtics and Kwame Brown is now back. Andrew Bynum owners need to keep an eye on this playing time situation.

NO @ GSW: I'm going to this game tonight! It's also a huge fantasy game for me since Baron Davis, Al Harrington, Chris Paul and David West are all going to be factors in this game. Watch New Orleans' starters in this game as they've been playing big minutes lately since Byron Scott's bench has not been able to put points on the board at all. It's not a good sign if starters play such big minutes this early as it may have adverse effects come playoff time.
